Amanda has been in the self-storage industry for over 30 years starting with American Store & Lock in 1992 in Charlotte, NC. Then in 1995, American Store & Lock was managed by The Heyward Companies until they merged with Universal Storage Group in 2012. She held various positions as a Manager, Company Trainer, Senior Facility Manager and now works for the Home Office in Columbia, SC as a Revenue Auditor.
My grandparents, my dad, my oldest sister, my late dear friend and boss – Albert Heyward, and my best friend Brenda Harkey. These are the people that have touched my life in a special way and have inspired me to be who I am today.
