Sarah Beth DeFazio started her career as a Site Manager and never stopped climbing. Over 13 years, she rose through the ranks alongside Anne Ballard to become Vice President of Sales & Development at Universal Storage Group, where she now sits on the Leadership Team. She's certified in Sales Operational Science and is currently finishing her Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership.

A sought-after industry speaker, Sarah Beth presents at self-storage events on the state and national level, where her presentations inspire and educate audiences. She's also a published contributor to leading trade publications — a genuine thought leader in the space, backed by a background in corporate training and real estate.

She's also the founder of Storage Study Hall, a Facebook community built to help self-storage professionals across the industry find the educational resources they need to keep growing and stay sharp.

At USG, she leads client development from the ground up: securing management contracts, running feasibility studies, and delivering the kind of consulting that drives real growth for clients and the company alike.

Her leadership doesn't stop at the day job. Sarah Beth has served two terms on the Georgia Self Storage Association Board and continues to lend her voice to several national and state association committees, helping shape the direction of the industry she's spent her career in.

In her personal time, Sarah Beth enjoys creating lasting memories with her husband Joe, grown children Peyton and Spencer, and their kittens, Sofia and Giuseppe; experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen; and cheering on her favorite football team, the Chicago Bears. Her passion for growth, both personal and professional, underscores her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the industry and her community.
