Gary Pharo graduated with a BS in finance and real estate from the university of Alabama in 1987 and began working for a retail developer for 12 years before opening the Alabama and Mississippi divisions for The Shopping Center Group, a regional retail only brokerage company. Gary served on the board of directors for 10 years of the shopping center group. In 2013, Mr. Pharo began serving on the USG board of directors, in addition to his other business responsibilities and civic leadership roles. Gary resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
